Bridge & Quick Start Program

Medvantx Bridge Program: Our Bridge Program provides temporary access to medications for patients with insurance coverage disruptions, or supporting a job change, life event that causes insurance discontinuation. We offer a “bridge” supply of the necessary drug until receiving a prior authorization, or insurance issues are resolved. This program is also useful for clinical observation period requirements.

Medvantx Quick Start Program: When you partner with us, you can expect your patients to be started quickly on therapy with a temporary supply of medications provided by our pharmacy. This program ensures patients can, without barriers, receive their initial dose of medication. Eligible patients usually receive a months worth of medication, and have the option to ship directly to their house.

Both programs contribute to improved patient medication adherence and medical outcomes.

The Importance of PAPs

Despite efforts to make healthcare more accessible, there are still people who are uninsured or underinsured in the United States. PAPs help bridge the gap, allowing individuals who lack requisite health insurance to receive the prescriptions they need.

Generally, the process to receive medications through PAPs requires the following steps:

  1. The patient is made aware of PAPs by their healthcare provider or by searching the manufacturer’s website.
  2. The patient applies for a PAP and submits eligibility paperwork, which may include income eligibility or insurance documents.
  3. Once approved, the patient will provide a valid prescription to the participating pharmacy, like Medvantx, and receive their medication.

Our unique platform, Medvantx INSIGHTS, improves medication management, enhances customer centricity, and provides a seamless patient and provider experience. This platform is equipped with tools for patient access, cash pay, and other clinical applications, delivering an array of solutions accessible via Cloud and mobile platforms.
