National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP)

The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) is a nonprofit organization that works with state boards of pharmacy to set standards that protect public health. It has over 119 years of pharmacy industry knowledge and expertise and provides a portfolio of pharmacy accreditation programs. These programs allow pharmacies to demonstrate their continued focus on quality, safety, and compliance, reassuring patients and partners of their commitment to excellence.

Medvantx Digital Pharmacy Accreditation

Digital Pharmacy Accreditation is one of NABP’s offerings for pharmacies having websites that promote digital practices such as patient counseling, prescription refills, patient/prescriber portals, and other pharmacy care services. To achieve this accreditation, a pharmacy undergoes a thorough review process by NABP, in addition to an on-site inspection, and reaccreditation is required every three years. Assessment standards include regulatory compliance, pharmacy security, drug storage, patient counseling, prescription packaging, business continuity planning, continuous quality improvement programs, and many other critical focus areas.

Medvantx is proud to be one of only 87 NABP Accredited Digital Pharmacies nationwide, recognizing our commitment to quality care and safe pharmacy practices. Medvantx is devoted to providing world class pharmacy services and advancing access to care, all while meeting and exceeding the high standards proposed by NABP along the way.
